Hiragana and katakana quiz

Pick the rows you want, from the five vowels to the dakuten rows and combos like きゃ and しょ, then type the romaji for each kana as it lights up on the board. Misses come back a few cards later with a mnemonic, and the chart at the end shows exactly where you stand.

Common spellings all count: shi or si, chi or ti, tsu or tu, fu or hu. When you want the kana to stick for good, Hibi for iPhone teaches one character a day from your lock screen, then moves on to kanji.
